  • Spring Election - April 1, 2025
Voter Requirements

In the State of Wisconsin, you must show an acceptable photo ID - such as a Wisconsin driver license, U.S. passport, military ID, or a free Wisconsin state ID card- before casting a ballot in any election. Voters who choose to vote absentee, by mail or in-person, also must provide photo ID. If you have questions about the Voter Photo ID law, including a list of other acceptable forms of photo ID or how to obtain a photo ID for voting purposes, please visit  https://elections.wi.gov/register or contact Sandi Dexter, Town Clerk at (608) 742-4801 or email [email protected].

Voter Registration

To register to vote, or to change your name or address on your voter registration, please contact Clerk Dexter or visit https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/. MyVote also provides access to information on upcoming elections including sample ballots and polling place information.

Absentee Ballot Request

An Absentee Ballot Request can be made online at https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/ , in writing, or in-person to the Town Clerk. For further assistance on these, or other elections related information, including deadlines for registration and absentee ballot requests, please contact Sandi Dexter, Town Clerk at (608) 742-4801 or email [email protected].

Absentee Voters may return their Absentee Ballot by mail or in-person to the Clerk's office during office hours. Only the voter may return their ballot unless unable due to a disability.

In-Person Absentee Voting

You can vote absentee at your local municipal clerk's office.  If you apply for an absentee ballot in your municipal clerk's office, or another designated location for in-person absentee voting, you will vote your ballot immediately in the clerk's office, seal your ballot in the proper envelope, and return it to a member of the clerk's staff.  No ballots may be taken out of the clerk's office.

You will need to show your acceptable photo ID for voting when voting by in-person absentee ballot.

In-person absentee voting is available at the Town Hall during regularly scheduled office hours within two weeks before an election.

For in-person absentee voting requests outside of office hours, please contact Barb Davis, Town Clerk at (608) 742-4801 or email [email protected].
